摘　　要：[目的/意义]从社会教育的角度解析李小缘先生的图书馆学思想,体现李小缘对图书馆的贡献。[方法/过程]分析李小缘图书馆社会教育思想的产生背景、基本内容及影响,揭示李小缘图书馆社会教育理论的现实意义。[结果/结论]李小缘的图书馆社会教育思想具有时代性与前瞻性,他的一些观点在当今仍然具有借鉴意义与研究价值。[Purpose/significance ]The paper to analyze Mr. Li Xiaoyuan＇s thoughts of library science from the perspective of social education, and reflect Mr. Li Xiaoyuan＇s contribution to modern librarianship. [Method/process]The paper summarizes back-grounds, basic contents and influences of Mr. Li Xiaoyuan＇s library social education thoughts, and reveals the practical significance of his theory. [Result/conclusion]Mr. Li Xiaoyuan＇s library social education thoughts are contemporaneity and forward-looking, and some viewpoints have reference significance and research value in today＇s world.
