论边沁的功利主义思想

摘　　要：在西方思想发展史上,功利主义在近代成为了一种影响较大的思想,对整个西方乃至整个世界都有着深远的影响。直到今天,功利主义经过了一代又一代的思想家发展和完善之后,还影响着当今社会的发展运行。边沁是功利主义思想的发展者和奠基人,研究边沁的功利主义思想有助于研究他的政治思想。文章从边沁提出功利主义思想的背景、功利主义思想的具体内容以及功利主义思想存在的不足等几方面,介绍了边沁的功利主义思想。In the history of western philosophy, utilitarianism was once an influential thought in modern times, which influenced the west as well as the whole world. Utilitarian- ism is still affecting the social develgpment after being promoted and completed by genera- tion of generation thinkers. Bentham is the founder and developer of this philosophy. To study Bentham＇ s ideas of utilitarianism is helpful to understand his political philosophies. Bentham＇ s utilitarianism is introduced in this study,including the background, content and the shortcomings.
