摘　　要：通过对美国公共卫生与预防医学学科定义、教育项目设置、认证体系、教育模式以及实践教学理念进行分析比较和归纳总结,发现美国公共卫生与预防医学与我国学科设置存在不同。公共卫生教学项目的多样化,以能力为导向的教育模式和实践教学理念以及成熟的教育质量认证体系表明美国已建立起较为完善的公共卫生人才教育框架。提示我国需汲取美国公共卫生教育的先进经验,培养符合我国国情的公共卫生与预防医学人才。Abstract： By analyzing, comparing, and summarizing discipline definition, education program setting, certification system, educational patterns and practical teaching philosophy of public health and preventive medicine in the USA, the differences of discipline setting in public health and preventive medicine are founded between the USA and China. Diversification of public health teaching program, ability-oriented educational patterns and practical teaching philosophy, matured certification system for education quality all indicate that a relatively complete education framework for public education talent has been established in the USA. It is suggested that China should learn from advanced experience concerning public health education in the USA and cultivate public health and preventive medicine talents according to the general conditions of China.
