Investigation on Highly-efficient Diode-pumped Cr:YAG Q-switched c-cut Nd:GdVO_4 Self-Raman Laser

摘  要:采用长度为15mm的c切Nd:GdVO_4作为自拉曼晶体,Cr:YAG作为饱和吸收体,曲率半径为300mm的后腔镜进行了激光二极管(LD)抽运的被动调Q自拉曼激光器实验研究,分析了抽运功率和腔镜曲率对输出功率,脉冲能量以及脉冲宽度的影响。在6.28W的输入泵浦功率下获得了716m W的1176nm激光输出,从LD到拉曼光的转换效率达到11.4%,这是目前公开报道的LD泵浦被动调Q Nd:GdVO_4/Cr:YAG自拉曼激光器最高的输出功率和转换效率。A diode-pumped passively Q-switched self-Raman laser with concave-plane cavity is investigated experimen- tally,in which a 15mm long c-cut Nd:GdVO4 is used as the self-Raman crystal and a Cr4+:YAG crystal with 91% initial transmittance is used as the saturable absorber. The curvature radius of the rear mirror is 300mm and the overall length of the cavity is 60mm. The maximum average output power of 716mW at 1176nm is obtained at an incident pump power of 6.28W,the corresponding conversion efficiency is 11.4% which is the highest conversion efficiency of the passively Q-switched self-Raman laser.
