探讨高校图书馆藏书大规模调整的架位测定——以嘉应学院图书馆为例

摘　　要：要提高高校图书馆藏书大规模调整的质量和效率,事先做好架位测定工作至为关键。利用图书馆自动化管理系统统计馆藏,测算各类图书的平均厚度,测算现有各类图书的需要架位,测算未来各类新书的预留架位,从而确定各大类图书和每个子类图书的起始排架位置。To improve the quality and efficiency of the large - scale adjustment of collection of books in the universi- ty libraries, it is crucial that the shelf - position measurement has to be done well in advance. Using the library au- tomatic management systemcalculates library collection of books, the average thickness of various categories of books, the needed shelves for various categories of available books and the reserved shelves for various categories of future new books, consequently, determines the starting shelf position of each of the first class books and subclass books.
