摘　　要：以江苏省为例通过对农村公路交通事故数据的定量分析,获取事故形态、事故地点线形特征、路侧防护情况、路口路段类型分布、事故发生时间、发生区域分布特征、事故车辆特征等交通事故特征。研究发现,经济快速发展的地区农村公路事故较多,主要发生在国、省道与乡镇公路交叉口及路面状况差、交通安全设施不齐全的路段;无证驾驶、正面相撞较多死亡率高;肇事车辆和驾驶人以及事故伤亡人员以本地为主,农用车、摩托车肇事突出。研究结果可为农村道路设计、安全宣传、交通管理和安保工程的实施提供依据。After collecting accident data form department of transport in Jiangsu province,this paper explored the characteristics of traffic accidents on rural roads by quantitative analysis in terms of accident forms,road alignment,roadside protection,intersection types,regional economic situation,accident time,and vehicle features.The research shows that traffic accidents on rural roads were prone to the developed area and mainly happened at at-grade intersection and segment with a poor pavement condition.Driving without license and head-on collisions were overwhelmingly dominant Accident related casualties and vehicles including agricultural vehicle and motorcycle are local.
