摘　　要：编纂地方志是中华民族特有的优秀文化传统,能为我们留下极为丰富的宝贵遗产。1985年,省政府部署全省开展修志工作,首轮《安徽省志·林业志》是安徽林业史上第一部志书。2007年开始二轮林业志编纂,记述1986~2005年安徽林业建设在改革开放中从拨乱反正到持续发展的史实。本文以编纂二轮林业志的实践,阐述了依法修志、认真制订篇目大纲、广泛搜集资料、不厌其烦锤炼志稿、为编纂精品志书竭尽全力的必要性。Local chorography compilation is a distinctive, excellent Chinese cultural tradition that leaves us rich and precious legacies. Anhui Provincial Government made arrangement for local chorography compilation in the province in 1985, and Forestry Chorography, Anhui Provincial Chorography completed in the first round of compilation is the first forestry chorography in the province’s forestry history. The second round of forestry chorography compilation started in 2007 recording historical facts on Anhui forestry construction between 1986 and 2005, a period from setting wrong things right to sustainable development. In this paper, based on the second round of forestry chorography compilation practice, the necessity to spare no effort to compile quality chorography was elaborated including compiling chorography by law, seriously formulating content outlines, extensively collecting data and tirelessly revising and modifying scripts.
