论魁北克华人文学及其地域特征  

On Chinese Literature in Quebec and Its Regional Features

摘　　要：加拿大华人最为集中的三个区域——不列颠哥伦比亚省(以温哥华为中心)、安大略省(以多伦多为中心)和魁北克省(以蒙特利尔为中心)——是加拿大华人文学发展最为成熟的地方,聚集着该国大部分的最主要华人作家。由于前两个区域的华人文学受到学界关注已经颇多,本文将着重描述受到关注尚少的以蒙特利尔为中心的魁北克华人文学,评介其重要的英语、法语和华文作家及其代表作,并论述其具有多语种性、社团性、草根性和法裔文化性这四个地域特征。Since there are large Chinese Canadian populations in Vancouver, British Columbia, in Toronto, Ontario, and in Montreal, Quebec, most major Chinese Canadian writers can he found in these areas. Hence their prosperous Chinese Canadian literature. While the Toronto-based and Vancouver-based Chinese literature has received considerable academic attention, its Quebecois counterpart has not been sufficiently studied yet. This article thus describes the historical development of the Montreal-based Chinese literature in Quebec, commenting on its major writers and works in English, French and Chinese. Meanwhile, the article also argues that the Chinese literature in Quebec has four regional characteristics, such as muhilingua lism, association work, grass-root, and francophone cuhure.
