摘 要:斯里兰卡位于印度洋东西交通的"十字路口",是我国建设"21世纪海上丝绸之路"的重要伙伴国。近年来,在中斯两国政府的共同支持下,中科院所属机构和国内的大学以及医学研究机构联合斯里兰卡有关机构,围绕斯里兰卡中部旱区发生的不明原因慢性肾病及其发病机理这一世界难题开展合作研究。同时中方积极回应斯里兰卡朝野的共同关切,为解决斯长期面临的安全饮用水供给问题,以"政产学研"的合作模式,打造"惠民、暖心"的"洁水工程",努力提升斯里兰卡饮用水安全保障能力,为促进中国与"一带一路"沿线国家的"民心相通"发挥了积极作用。Sri Lanka is located at the crossroads of Indian Ocean, which plays an important role in China's "the 21st century maritime Silk Road" initiative. In recent years, with the joint support from the governments of China and Sri Lanka, the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) has pioneered in taking a series of innovative actions in Sri Lanka to carry out cooperative research on the subject of chronic kidney disease of unknown causes (CKDu) by working closely with its international partner institutions. CKDu is an internationally recognized public health problem and is becoming a growing concern in Sri Lanka. CAS also actively responds to the concern of Sri Lanka in the drinking water problem and gives a helping hand to solve the problem. So far, China has constructed some public interest projects by the model of "Government- Industry-University-Institute collaboration", and strives to enhance drinking water safety and security capabilities in Sri Lanka, which could promote the people-to-people bond between China and the countries along the Belt and Road.
