二棱与六棱大麦杂交进行种质资源创新和新品种选育

摘  要:20世纪80年代中期之后,东北地区种植的六棱啤酒大麦品种都是北美血缘,以致育成品种的遗传基础越来越窄。为拓宽遗传基础,从20世纪90年代开始,尝试用大麦二棱品种(系)与六棱进行杂交,以选育新的六棱品种(系)。经过20多年的努力,几经改良,终于在产量、品质方面育成有明显突破的六棱大麦新品系——红11-52,实现了种质创新的目标。Beginning in the middle of the 1980s, six-row malting barley varieties have been cultivated in north-eastern China. Since these varieties all originated from North America, their hybridization resulted in varieties with increasingly narrow genetic basis. To broaden the genetic basis of malting barley germplasm, we started crossing two-row with six-row barley varieties(or lines) in the 1990s, and a special selection method was used to breed new varieties(or lines). With our continuous efforts on this breeding program for 20 years including several times of improving the breeding method, a new six-row barley variety termed Hong 11-52 has been bred,which shows remarkable increases in yield and quality relative to other varieties. Thus, we have achieved the goal of creating new barley germplasm and breeding new barley varieties.
