Objective To study the influence of peer support mode on anxiety-depression of Graves disease patients. Methods A total of 100 Graves disease patients were randomly divided into control group and research group, with 50 cases in each group. The control group received conventional health education and help, and the research group received peer support mode. Comparison were made on self-rating depression scale (SDS), self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) score before and after treatment, and incidence of adverse events, cure rate, recurrence rate after treatment in two groups. Results After treatment, the research group had lower SDS and SAS score respectively as (27.22 ± 2.03) and (28.24 ± 2.01) points than (38.21 ± 2.21) and (39.32 ± 2.14) points in the control group, and their difference had statistical significance (P〈0.05). The research group had obviously higher cure rate as 84.0% than 66.0% in the control group, lower incidence of adverse reactions as 14.0% than 36.0% in the control group, and lower recurrence rate as 8.0% than 22.0% in the control group. Their difference had statistical significance (P〈0.05). Conclusion Peer support mode can increase treatment effect of Graves disease patients and promote their recovery.
