摘　　要：每个国家和民族都有独特的文化意蕴。影片《我的盛大希腊婚礼》通过一场盛大的希腊婚礼,向观众展示了丰富多彩、灿烂辉煌的希腊文化。片中女主人公土拉生活在一个带有明显集体主义烙印的希腊大家庭中,父亲言必称希腊,在家庭生活中拥有绝对权威。经过家庭成员的共同努力,土拉与非希腊裔美国人伊恩带有浓厚宗教色彩的盛大婚礼得以在希腊教堂隆重举行。这场跨国、跨文化的婚礼不仅让观众充分领略了希腊婚俗文化的独特魅力,也让观众乐见希腊与美国两种文化由最初碰撞到最终成功融合,这在人类文明相互交融的今天,无疑具有普遍而重要的现实意义。Cultures are distinctive. We are deeply impressed by the splendid Greek culture shown in the movie. The Heroine, Tula, lives in a big Greek family. Tula＇s father is overly patriotic and personifies an absolute power to the rest of the family. The wedding planning hits snag after snag as Tula＇s numerous relatives ＂helpfully＂ interfere by imposing their ideas into her planning. Finally the wedding ceremony is grandly held in a Greek church. We are attracted by the unique charms of the Greek culture reflected in the cross-cultural wedding. We are willing to see the final integration of two families and cultures.
