摘　　要：中国现代小城小说里有大量的对死亡的叙写,这些小说文本里的死亡叙事既是对个体生命的人文关怀,又是对社会现实的反映和对社会痼疾的暴露与批判,也是关于生命和自由的伦理叙事,体现了作家对现实的思考、对民族命运的探寻和对未来的期待与呼唤。There is a great deal of death narration in modern Chinese town novels. Death narration in texts of modern Chinese town novels is not only the humane care of individual life, but also a reflection of the social reality, exposure and criticism of the darkness of the society. It is ethical narration on life and freedom, and embodied writers＇ reflection on the social reality, exploration of the destiny of our nation, expectation and calling of future.
