摘　　要：中国科学文化滥觞于近代,主要是归国留学生使然。中国近代留学生初步建立起具有本土化特征的中国科学文化体系,促进了中国近代科技与社会的进步。伴随新中国建设的步伐,中国近代留学生群体继续领导中国现代科学文化事业的发展,创造了中国科学技术发展史上的一个又一个奇迹。改革开放造就的新一代归国留学生把中国现代科学文化事业提升到世界文化发展的平台。自中国近代社会以来,每每留学运动的高潮期之后,学成归来的留学生便掀起中国科学文化发展的繁荣期。当今中国正处于留学运动史上最繁荣的一个时期,因此,必将出现中国科学文化发展史无前例的繁荣景象。The arising of science and technology culture in modern China was mainly caused by the return of students studying abroad. The students preliminarily founded a localized Chinese science and technology system and furthered the progress of technology and the society in modern China. With the pace of building new China,the group of students studying abroad in modern times continued to lead the development of science and technology undertakings,creating miracles one after another in the history of China＇s science and technology development. The new generation of returned students after the reform and opening-up policy have raised China＇s science and technology industry to a worldwide cultural development platform. Ever since the start of the modern society,the returned students from overseas have more than once started the prosperity in China＇s science and technology culture as a result of each studying abroad movement. The studying abroad phenomenon in today＇s China is prevailing;therefore,the development of China＇s science and technology culture would enter an unprecedented flourishing period.
