摘　　要："秦"是中外文献中对古代中国的一个称谓,具有极为丰富的文化内涵。文本在前人研究基础上,通过对古代穆斯林作家马赫穆德·喀什噶里著作《突厥语大词典》记录的"秦"一词的梳理分析,阐释了这一称谓出现的历史原因及其对今天的重要启示。＂Qin＂ is a title for ancient China in Chinese and foreign documents, rich in cultural connotation. The essay writer based on previous research combs through the word ＂qin＂ recorded in comperdium of the Turkic dialects written by Mamud＇Kashgari, an ancient muslim author and expounds the historical reason and important revelation upon prsent day from that title.
