Spontaneous ignition temperature and the explosion maximum limit of the ethanol-gasoline blends

摘  要:为评估不同标号乙醇汽油(E10)的燃爆危险特性,补充完善乙醇汽油的技术指标,首次采用AIT551自燃温度测试仪和FRTA爆炸极限测试仪测试了E10的自燃温度和爆炸极限,并分析了温度对乙醇汽油爆炸极限的影响规律。结果表明:90号、93号、97号E10自燃温度分别为373℃、339℃、373℃,对应着火延迟时间为8 s、9 s、8s;90号、93号、97号E10的爆炸范围分别为1.223%~8.292%、1.343%~8.893%、1.294%~8.546%;温度从20℃升高至120℃,93号E10的爆炸范围从1.491%~8.765%变宽至1.318%~9.103%,即E10蒸气爆炸极限范围随温度升高而变宽;推导了测量E10蒸气爆炸极限时待测样品量预估计的公式。This article is intended to assess the burning and explosion hazard characteristics of ethanol gasoline(E10) of different brands in hoping to make up for and perfect its technical indexes.For the given purpose,we have tested the AIT551 spontaneous ignition temperature and its explosion ultimate limits and analyzed the effects of the temperature on the ethanol-gasoline explosion limits by using the FRTA explosion limit testing instruments.As a result,we have found that the ethanol gasoline explosion scopes of No.90 should be ranged from 1.223% to 8.292%; and the ethanol gasoline explosion scope of No.93 covers from1.343% to 8.893%.At the same time,that of No.97 prolongs from 1.294% to 8.546%.The results of the above mentioned studies indicate that the spontaneous ignition temperatures of ethanol gasoline of No.90,No.93 and No.97 should account for 373℃,339 ℃ and 373 ℃,respectively,with their corresponding ignition delay lengths being 8 s,9 s and 8 s.At the same time,the explosion limits of the ethanol gasoline account for 1.491%-8.765% at 20 ℃ with the range of explosion limits being1.318%-9.103% at 120 ℃ with the gradual increase of the temperature.In sedition,we have also done preliminary trial estimations with the increase of the liquid volumes.In addition,the paper has also derived the calculation volume formula of the sample of No.E10,which is often used for its measurement.According to the thermal ignition theory,the ignition delay time length should be regarded as an induction period,which is supposed to play a major role in controlling the combustion process.In such a process,even if the ambient temperature has been made as high as that for the spontaneous ignition,reasonable safety measures should also be taken to reduce the hazards and the explosive accidents during the induction period.Therefore,as compared with No.93 ethanol gasoline and No.97 ethanol gasoline,the gasoline types of ethanol numbered as No.90 can still be made stay at a lower spontaneous ignition temperature and a narrower
