荀子对孔孟思想的继承发展及其时代价值

摘　　要：荀子作为战国晚期儒家思想的集大成者,他在继承和发扬先秦儒家思想重"礼"传统的基础上,广泛吸收诸子百家思想,提出了"明分使群"、"人之性恶""天人相分"、"法后王"、"隆礼重法"等观点。荀子思想形成的基础是对儒家"人性本善"思想的合理扬弃与创新,他将孔孟理想化的以德治国与社会现实相结合,在"人之性恶"认识的基础上,注重人的主观能动性,强调"礼"教育引导与规范作用的同时,特别注重"法"的强制约束作用。笔者从社会实践角度出发,以时代政治背景为依托,将荀子思想与以孔孟为代表的儒家思想进行比较,剖析荀子思想产生的历史根源,并将荀子对儒家思想发展与创新所产生的时代价值进行梳理。Xunzi,as a master of Confucianism in the late Warring States period, absorbed the thoughts from all classes of thinkers on the base of inheritance and development on ＂ritual＂ tradition of Confucianism.He put forward the ideas such as ＂division and coordination＂ , ＂Evil of human nature＂, ＂Distinguish mankind from heaven＂, ＂learning from the kings of recent antiquity＂, ＂abiding by propriety and law＂ and so on.The formation base of Xunzi ＇ s thought is a reasonable sublation and innovation of the Confucian thought that ＂human nature is good＂ ,and he combined the virtue of Confucius and Mencius＇ thoughts and social reality.On the base of the understanding of ＂the evil of human nature＂ ,he paid attention to the subjective initiative of human being, emphasizing the guiding and regulating role of ＂ritual＂ ,especially paying attention to the restraint of ＂law＂ .From the view of social practice,based on political background, the writer compares Xunzi ＇ s thoughts with Confucius and Mencius ＇ as the representative of the Confucian thought, and analyzes the historical source of Xunzi＇ s thoughts.And the walter combs the times value of Xunzi ＇ s thoughts on the development and innovation of confucianism.
