摘 要:明末来华耶稣会士龙华民在继承了利玛窦传教事业之后,对前任的宗教和文化策略有重大异议,并为此写作了《论中国宗教的若干问题》,成为中国教会史上的重大事件。同时,该文件也是中西文化交流史、中国宗教学、儒家和儒教思想、比较经学领域中的最重要文献之一。该文在17、18、19世纪的欧洲有各种版本流行,通过莱布尼茨、伏尔泰等启蒙思想家的著述,其结论渗透到关于中国文化、儒家学说和中国宗教的各种判断之中,并在19、20世纪影响中国本土学者。翻译这本要著为中文,理清中西方经学和神学之间的互动与诠释,对理解中国宗教的本质具有重要意义。用文献考证、中西比较的方法来研究经学,是追本溯源解释中国思想本质的关键。After his succeeding of Matteo Ricci's mission, Nicolas Longobardi, a Jesuit missionary to China at the last years of Ming Dynasty, vitally dissented his predecessor of the strategy of religion and culture and, for this purpose, wrote On the Issues of Chinese Religion, thus became an important event in Chinese history of churches. At the same time, this document is also one of the most important literatures in the fields of China- West cultural exchange, China's studies on religion, Confucianism, and comparative classical study. During the 17th through the 19th century, this article was circulated in Europe with various editions. His conclusion had penetrated into the judgments to Chinese culture, Confucianism and religion by the enlightenment thinkers' writings, such as Leibniz and Voltaire, etc., and had influenced China's scholars in the 19th and the 20th century. Translating this article into Chinese and clarifying the reciprocity and annotation between Chinese classics and Western theology is of vital importance to understand the essence of Chinese religion. In order to explain the essence of Chinese thinking from the very beginning, the key lies at studying the classics with the method of textual criticism and Chinese-Western comparison.
