中国大学精神传承与校长的期望——基于我国原“985工程”高校校长2016年毕业典礼讲话的内容分析

摘　　要：中国大学要成为世界一流,就必须有中国特色的大学精神。我国原"985工程"高校(以下简称985高校)已经具备了"研究型大学"的特征和迈向"世界一流大学"的基础。文章采用整群抽样的方法,对我国985高校校长2016年在大学生毕业典礼上的讲话进行内容分析,结果发现:中国大学精神的传承与校长的期望密切相关;校长的毕业典礼讲话较好地诠释了大学校训,也集中体现了中国大学精神;中国大学精神具体反映在大学对于人才培养、科学研究和社会服务等大学职能的践行上;校长的期望聚焦在让大学生学会"做人"上。China＇ s universities should have their own specific university spirits in order to be the first classuniversities in the world. Those former ＂985 Project＂ universities （abbreviated to the 985 universities） havebeen qualified with the features of ＂research-oriented universities＂ and the basis to be ＂the world first class uni-versities＂. This article invited cluster sampling to analyze the commencement speeches those presidents of 985 u-niversities delivered in 2016. The authors found out that the heritage of university spirit is closely connected withthe expectation of the university president; the commencement speeches of the presidents better interpret themotto of their universities and embody the university spirit of China; the university spirit is incarnated in thepractice of university＇ s function such as the cultivation of talents, scientific research and social services ; and theexpectation of presidents focalizes on the cultivation of college students to ＂be a man＂.
