The self- reconstructed identity acts as an important action mechanism during the process ot degradation of norms. Since the end of Cold War, those who in Japan challenge the existed norms have taken the identity of rebuilding Japan as a great power as a leverage, to deliberately to exaggerate the incompatibility between the identity and norms and arouse the suspicion over the legitimacy and rationality of norms. Through the three approaches such as social competition, social creativity and social mobility, they attempt to rebuild a new concept based on certain "legitimacy and rationality" that deteriorates pacifism and promotes the new norms. In the process, Japan' s new identity that constructs the new political culture contributes to Japan' s escaping from the post - war regime.
