西江流域城市竞争力评价与提升战略研究

摘　　要：流域是一个经济关联度较高、整体性较强的、具有明显区段性特征的经济区域,流域经济的发展既受区域经济发展总体格局的影响,又受到流域内自然资源、社会经济基础等条件的影响,而作为中国东南部地区的一个资源富饶区域,西江流域经济却处于后发展、欠发达的状态。该研究基于当前我国大力加快发展中西部经济,努力缩短东西部差距的宏观大环境的背景下,对西江流域经济发展与城市竞争力的互动关系进行了阐述,定量评价分析了西江流域广西段、广东段各主要城市竞争力,并提出了一系列加快西江流域经济发展提升城市竞争力的战略构想及建议。River basin is an economic area which has a high degree of economic correlation, strong integrity and obvious regional features. The development of basin economy is influenced by the overall pattern of regional economy development as well as the natural resources, social economic foundations and so on. Xijiang River Basin is one of rich- resourced areas in the southeastern China, but its economy is still in？ a less developed state. With Chinese government pays much more attention on middle and western economy de-velopment in order to shorten the gap between？ east and west. This research, which is carried out in the macro context where the gov- ernment of our country is trying to speed up the economic development of the middle and western areas of China and narrow the gap be- tween the eastern part and western part of China, analyzes the interrelation between the economic development and urban competitive- ness in the Xijiang River Basin and separately makes quantitative evaluation of the competitiveness of the main cities in the section of Guangxi and the section of Guangdong. Consequently, it puts forward some strategic ideas and suggestions which would help to boost the economic development and improve urban competitiveness in the Xijiang River Basin.
