摘　　要：贾平凹的长篇小说《极花》表现了中国西部偏远乡村中农民的苦难生活,呈现了他们在极地生存中的生命蛮力与人性光晕。乡土书写是贾平凹小说创作的审美理想之一,《极花》不仅传达了作家对卑微的乡土生命的深切关注,还表征着作家对乡村凋蔽的深沉思考。Pretty Flower （Ji Hua in Chinese） by Jia Ping-wa describes villagers＇ miserable life in the remote countryside in the west of China, displays their life＇s brute force and human nature＇s brightness under the worst surviving condition. One of Jia Ping-wa＇s aesthetic ideals in his novel writing is to write for the fate of rural ar- eas. Through this novel, Jia Ping-wa not only expresses his deep care about the humble rural life, but also re- presents his profound reflection on the poverty-stricken countryside.
