摘　　要：地域文化是近现代文学作品中蕴含的一种文化现象,而边疆地区作为一种特定的地域范畴,有其特殊的文化属性。当边疆经过最初开拓,地理环境和社会环境都进入稳定时期后,区域中居民的性格必定会受到所处的特殊地域文化的影响。文章通过比较分析的方式,研究中美两地常态化的农庄生活对两地居民的性格影响及文化表现。Region culture is a kind of cultural phenomenon in the modem cultural works, and Frontier re- gion culture, as a special regional thing, has its own cultural identity. When the region was tamed at the be- ginning, and as the geographical and social environment entered a stable period, the personality of the resi- dents must be affected by the special region culture. The thesis tries to contrast and compare the characters of the people in the two countries, and meanwhile it means to reveal the cultural expression.
