推进《国际年代地层表》在中国的应用

摘　　要：在国际地层委员会的倡导和推动下,确定金钉子的工作在不断推进中,《国际年代地层表》中已有了67枚金钉子。中国和意大利已确立了10枚"金钉子",成为拥有"金钉子"最多的国家。在新近颁布的《中国地层表》中,没有采用国际通用的正式系级单位——埃迪卡拉系,同时还建立了一套中国的年代地层单位序列,与国际年代地层单位相对应,其中还建立了许多陆相地层的阶。这些做法,不利于《国际年代地层表》在中国的全面推广和应用、是值得商榷的。Under the auspices of the International Commission on Stratigraphy, 67 ＂Golden Spikes＂ （GSSPs） have been established, among which ten are erected in China and Italy, which has the most ＂Golden Spikes＂ in any country. However, the International Chronostratigraphic Chart has not been full- y adopted among Chinese stratigraphers. For instance, the newly issued Stratigraphic Chart of China re- jected the Ediacaran System, which has been accepted internationally as a formal global system. In addi- tion, the Stratigraphic Chart of China developed a series of Chinese chronostratigraphic units and terres- trial chronostratigraphic stages corresponding with international chronostratigraphic units. These practices would negatively impact the popularization and application of the International Chronostratigraphic Chart in China.
