摘　　要：作为一位公认的左派作家和美国举足轻重的文学批评家,埃德蒙·威尔逊的文学批评理论深受马克思主义文艺理论的影响。他在自己丰富而鲜活的文学批评实践的基础上对文学与社会历史发展之间的关系、文学在"经济基础-上层建筑"结构中的地位、文学对社会及个人产生作用的机制等问题做出了独一无二的回答。他的理论创见看似与马克思主义文艺理论存在错位,实则为后者的一种独特版本。Edmund Wilson is an undisputed leftist writer and important literary critic in America. His literary criticism bears the evident imprint of Marxist literary theory. Based on his rich and vibrant practice of literary criticism, he seeks to explore： relationship between literature and social historical development, role literature plays in the ＂base - superstructure＂ construction and the mechanism for literature to react to the society and its people. His theoretical insights, which seem to deviate from Marxist literary theory, is in effect a unique version of the latter.
