Objective To investigate the clinical value of CT and MRI in the diagnosis of thyroid nodules. Methods 50 patients with thyroid nodules surgically treated in our hospital from February 2015 to December 2016 were selected as the subjects of this study. 50 patients were pathologically confirmed thyroid nodules and preoperative MRI CT scan, postoperative pathological reports and statistics were compared with the CT and MRI diagnosis results, diagnosis coincidence rateof CT/MR/with pathological diagnosis counted, Results The coincidence rate of CT scan with pathological diagnosis in benign cases (94.74%) was slightly higher than that of MRI(86.84%), without statistically significant difference, P〉0.05. The coincidence rate of CT scan with pathological diagnosis in malignant cases (91.67%) was significantly higher than that of MRI(75.00%), with statistically significant difference (P〈0.05). The total coincidence rate of CT with pathological diagnosis (94.00%) was significantly higher than that of MRI (84.00%) with statistically significant difference (P〈0.05). Conclusion The accuracy of differential diagnosis of CT is better than MRI, clinical diagnostic value superior, which should be given priority in clinical diagnosis.
