大同市自然村名与地理环境要素  

Village Names and Geographical Environment Factors of the Place Name in Datong City

摘　　要：指出了地名是人们赋予特定空间不同地理实体的文化符号。其产生和演变既被自然环境制约,又为接触的文化所左右。分析了大同市的自然村名,运用统计、比较、归纳等研究方法,结合自然因素和人文因素,探究了其形成的结果及对人们的影响。结果显示:大同市的村名受到了大同处于的黄土高原的自然环境以及宗教文化与悠久的传统的中国文化相互交融的影响。通过对大同市村名的研究,有助于人们更好地认识地名受自然和人文要素的影响,了解大同市村名的命名方式,能够更好地为大同的经济、社会的发展和地名的修改与命名提供理论依据。Place names are cultural symbols that people give different geographical entities in a particular space. Its production and evolution was comrolled by natural environment constraints and related culture. This paper analyzed the natural village names of Datong City, using the methods of statistics, comparison and induction. Combining with the natural factors and human factors, this paper exploredits results and the impact on people. The study showed that the village name of Datong City is influenced by the natural environment of the Loess Plateau located in Datong. Meanwhile, it is alsoaffected bythe blend of religious culture and long tradition of Chinese culture. Through the study of the name of Datong city, it is helpful for people to better understand the influence on the names of natural and human elements and the naming method of Datong city village name. Thus, the resuhcan provide theoretical Basis for Datongs economic, social development and the modification of place names.
