摘　　要：目的了解乒乓球海外兵团发展的现状和趋势。方法运用文献资料、数理统计、逻辑推理等研究方法,对参加第31届里约奥运会乒乓球比赛的海外兵团的地缘结构、年龄特征、世界排名以及比赛成绩等相关指标进行研究。结果与结论海外兵团地缘分布趋向经济发达和亲地缘较近的洲际地区;年龄趋中老年化,将迎来断层现象;整体的竞技能力并不高,而男女兵团竞技能力差异明显,女兵团明显强于男兵团;海外兵团过于追求自身价值,而忽视对乒乓球运动及相关文化的推广,成为世界乒乓球运动发展不平衡的原因之一。Objective This paper aims to understand the current situation and development trend of overseas ping-pang players. Methods By using literature, mathematical statistics, logical analysis and other research methods, this study investigated the geo structure, age characteristics, world rankings, competition results and other related indicators of the Overseas Corps who participated the thirty-first Olympic Games. Conclusions The geographical distribution of Overseas Corps tends to be economically developed and close to the geographical region, aging trend will usher in the fauh phenomenon; The overall competitive ability is not high, hut the difference between male and female Corps athletic ability is obvious, female players are significantly stronger than the males. One of the reasons for the imbalance development of the world table tennis is the pursuit of their own value among Overseas Corps, while ignoring the promotion of table tennis and its related culture.
