摘　　要：液力缓速器是一种先进的车辆辅助制动装置,它的使用对于提高车辆的安全性有很大作用。在欧美等发达国家,液力缓速器的使用较为普遍,在我国由于法规、用户意识及价格因素的影响还不普及。但随着2016年第3季度强制性国家标准《汽车、挂车及汽车列车外廓尺寸、轴荷及质量限值》（GB 1589-2016）的正式实施,这一局面正在悄然发生改变。Hydra-retarder is a kind of high-tech brake assistant system, which plays a critical role in increasing safety of the vehicle. In European and North American markets, this hydra-retarder system has been widely applied to many vehicles. While in China, it has not so far been broadly recognized due to various reasons, such as local regulations, customers awareness and price, etc. as the carry-on of GB1589-2016: limits of outer-shape, full-load of axle and the whole weight of bus and semi-trailer, such situation will soon be changed.
