论高等学校职能现代化及其路径

摘　　要：现代化的本质是现代价值理念,高等学校职能现代化就是高等学校在不断追求现代价值理念过程中其自身所承担的社会职能发生相应变化的过程与活动,是高等教育现代化的应有之义、基础工程,也是高等教育实践的优先选项。高等学校职能自身的社会属性以及与现代价值理念的契合,使得高等学校职能现代化成为可能。高等学校职能现代化的实现包括横向现代化和纵向现代化两条路径,前者是指职能种类的不断生发,后者是指职能内涵的持续扩充。研究和探讨高等学校职能现代化对于高等教育未来健康有序的发展具有重要指导意义。Modern value concepts are the essence of modernization;university responsibilities will change and evolve in the pursuit of modern value concepts.University responsibilities modernization has its own legitimacy and value significance.The social function of university responsibilities and its fit with modern value concepts make the modernization of university responsibilities possible.Compared with the latter,the transverse modernization of university responsibilities deserves more attention and research.It includes transverse modernization and longitudinal modernization,of which the former refers to the emergence of new responsibilities,and the latter refers to the more modern value concepts of existing responsibilities.Research and discussion on the modernization of university responsibilities has important guiding significance to the healthy and orderly development of higher education in the future.
