摘　　要：社会偏瘫,家庭畸形,夫妻关系恶化,母女反目成仇,"美国梦"就像梦,是虚幻扭曲违背人性的。作品寓严肃主题于荒诞形式之中,更有利于揭露本质,惊醒错误认识。The novel reveals Amereian social problems, llke social paralysis, family distortion, and worsening relationship of couples. The so - called ＂American Dream＂ is dreamy, and is against human nature. The serious topic of the novel is embodied in a fantastic form, which can better reveal the nature and alert the misunderstanding.
