摘　　要："惜物"是我们民族的优良传统和美德,在我国全面建设"资源节约型、环境友好型"社会的背景下,有必要让"惜物"的传统回归,通过耐用性设计延长日用品的使用寿命,促进公众的绿色消费行为。文章在传统"惜物"观的基础上,阐释耐用性设计对于当代践行"惜物"行为的影响和意义,举例分析现代日用品耐用性设计的思想和方法。＂Xiwu＂ is one of our nation＇s fine traditions. In in the background of constructing resource-saving and environment-friendly society in our country, it is necessary to rebuild the tradition of ＂xiwu ＂. Through the durability of the design to extend the life of the commodity, it can promote public green consumption behavior. This article is based on the traditional concept of ＂xiwu＂, and explains the meaning of durability design, and analyzes the idea and method of durability design of modern commodity.
