美的历程:从机织专业到工艺美术——刍议陈之佛先生对美的探求

摘　　要：陈之佛先生是著名的中国画家、工艺美术家、工艺美术教育家。他从进入浙江省工业专门学校机织专业学习,到留学日本专门学习图案,直至回国后从事工艺美术教育和美术创作,贯穿一生的,是他对美的爱好、探索和追求。文章通过对他早期学习、生活经历的分析,得出:浙江宁波当地良好的农桑种植和纺织丝绸工业基础,对陈之佛先生选择染织科机织专业学习,而后步入纺织图案与工艺美术领域,并逐渐形成精确细腻、清丽典雅、精于工艺、技艺结合的独特艺术风格,最终成为我国著名的工艺美术大师、工艺美术教育家,有着至关重要的作用。Mr. Chen Zhifo is a famous Chinese painter, artist and art educator. He majored in machine weaving specialty in Zhejiang Industrial Technical School, then went to Japan to study pattern design and has been en- gaging in art education and art creation since he came back to China. Throughout his life is his love,exploration and pursuit of beauty. Based on his early study and life experience, it is concluded that the excellent mulberry planting in local Ningbo and the good textile and silk industry basis plays an important role for Mr. Chen to major in the machine weaving specialty, to step into the field of textile pattern and art, to gradually form a unique artistic style of being precise, delicate and elegant, and finally to be a famous artist and art educator in China.
