摘　　要：萨福克羊是世界著名的肉用绵羊品种,具有早熟、生长发育快、适应性强、肉质优良等优点,是世界性肉羊业的终端父本品种。文章对萨福克羊引入我国后的种质特性及其在我国作为父本品种与地方绵羊品种杂交改良情况进行了概述,旨在为我国充分利用萨福克羊提供理论参考。Suffolk is a world famous meat sheep breed with early maturity,fast growth and development, strong adaptability, excellent meat quality, etc., it is the terminal sire breed of meat sheep industry all over the world. Suffolk as parent varieties were hybridized with indigenous sheep breeds of China, the germplasm characteristics of Suffolk and the consequence of hybridization and improvement in China were summarized to provide theoretical basis for its full use in China .
