摘　　要：2005年10月12日-14日，第五届亚太城市市长峰会（Asia Pacific Cities Summit，简称APCS）在重庆成功举行，这是亚太城市市长峰会第一次在中国也是第一次在亚洲举办。菲律宾前总统拉莫斯，新西兰前总理希普利，澳大利亚前副总理菲希尔，中国外交部、发改委、商务部、国务院台办等中央部委办负责人及重庆市领导，共41个国家和地区的123个城市市长、议长或代表546人，255家中外企业的CEO或代表294人，美国、日本、加拿大等9家驻华（渝）使领馆代表及部分国际组织代表等共869人出席峰会开幕式。Over October 12-14, 2015, Chongqing held the fifth Asian Pacific Cities Summit （APCS） which was held in China and in Asia for the first time and bore great success. Representatives participating in this conference approved the Chongqing Declaration, which represents the first time since its founding in 1996 for APCS to make a consensus in the form of introducing declaration. The Declaration makes a new interpretation of the concepts concerningharmonious co-existence among cities, people and nature and sustainable development.
