摘　　要：湘鄂西红色文化是指遍布在湘鄂西苏区的革命旧址、革命遗迹、革命遗物和他们所承载的革命精神,本文通过对湘鄂西红色文化价值功能的介绍和分析,指出当前高校教育者在实际教学环节中,对红色文化在思想政治教育中作用的认识不到位,以此从重理论、轻实践,教育内容空洞、教学载体单一,科学合理的教育体系三个方面着重分析其不足,据此探究红色文化在高校思想政治教育中有效利用的路径选择。学习和宣传红色文化,不仅有着较高的历史研究价值,同时也有助于学生更深入的了解红色文化。The red culture of Hunan and western Hubei refers to the revolutionary sites, revolutionary relics, revolutionary relics and the revolutionary spirit that they carry in the western Hunan and Hubei Provinces. Through the introduction of the red cultural connotation, the form system and the value function of Hunan and western Hubei, Analysis, pointing out that the current college educators in the actual teaching links, the red culture in the ideological and political education in the role of awareness is not in place, as a result of heavy theory, light practice, educational content empty, teaching carrier single and scientific and rational education system Analyze its shortcomings, and explore its solution to the problem.
