摘　　要：中国是否能够跨越中等收入陷阱是近几年学界和政府特别关心的问题。由于城市是工业生产的主体和对外贸易的基本单元,因此,在开放经济中我国城市根据自身经济发展水平来选择恰当的国际分工模式,这对我国跨越中等收入陷阱至关重要。文章利用"中国海关进出口统计数据库"和"中国城市统计数据库"2000~2011年的数据,对城市出口多元化与经济发展水平的关系进行了考察,实证结果发现,经济发展水平越高的城市,其参与国际分工时越会采取多元化策略。这意味着不同经济发展水平的城市应采取不同的国际分工参与模式。It's concerned that whether China could stride over the middle-income trade recently.As cities are basic units in industrial production and foreign trade,how cities in China choose proper international division pattern according their own economic development level in a global economy is important for China's striding over the middle-income trap.This paper investigates the relationship between export diversification and economic development using'China Customs import and export statistics database'and'China urban statistical database'between 2000 and 2011,and shows that cities with better economic development choose to export more products.As economic development of cities in China are affected much by policy space,this paper observes also how policy space affects cities'international division pattern.It shows that economic development influences export diversification much more in cities with'bigger'policy space.
