摘　　要：粤西北勾漏片粤语古全浊声母今读不送气清音不影响其粤语性质,古全浊声母今读的差异表现了粤语发展的不平衡性,只宜作为粤语下位分片的标准之一。粤西北勾漏片粤语古全浊声母今读塞音塞擦音时不送气源于浊音清化早期具有显著差异的阴阳调上升为调位,声调的别义功能取代声母清浊的别义功能,不送气浊音直接清化为不送气清音。In Yue dialects in northwest Guangdong province,as a result of devoicing of unaspirated MC voiced initials,the words of MC voiced initials now are pronounced as voiceless unaspirated sounds.Since such change does not bring about much effect on its quality but shows the imbalance of Yue dialects,this feature can only be regarded as one of the criteria for sub-dividing of Yue dialects areas.In the early stage of the devoicing of voiced sounds,tones of yin and yang with significant differences are upgraded,and the role in distinguishing meanings of words is played by their tones,not the voiced initials any longer;thus,the unaspirated voiced sounds are changed into the voiceless ones.That is why MC voiced initials,which are stops or affricates,become unaspirated sounds in modern time.
