以编辑角度实例探讨科技插图的优化

摘　　要：插图是科技期刊的一种图形化的语言,对研究内容的清晰表达起着十分重要的作用,文章插图的好坏在一定程度上反映出科技期刊的整体水平。指出科技期刊插图编辑中可能遇到的规范性以及表达方式的科学性等各种表现,并根据所从事《内燃机学报》编辑实践中的实例,详细探讨了插图的编辑过程。提出编辑人员应在插图表达的科学性方面保持敏锐性,科技写作者也应注意插图的规范标准,关注科学优秀的插图并借鉴学习。Illustrations, as a visualized language in sci-tech journals, are important for the clear expression of re- search. The quality of illustrations in a paper reflects the overall level of the sci-tech journal. Several issues on standardiza- tion and scientificness in scientific expressions in editing illustrations in sci-tech journals were pointed out. With examples in editing illustrations, the process of expression optimization was discussed in detail, illustration methods were optimized, and illustration quality was improved. Editors should be acute in scientific expression in illustrations, and writers should note the standardization of illustrations and learn from illustrations with high qualities.
