清代苏州彭氏的教育事业探论

摘　　要：清代苏州彭氏是著名的文化世家。彭氏家族有着重视教育的传统,教育氛围浓厚、教育制度完备,为其家族科举的成功奠定了坚实的基础。彭氏还积极推动苏州地方教育事业的发展,不仅热心参与县府学、书院等地方教育机构的修葺完善,而且有族人长期担任地方书院山长,对苏州崇文乐学之风的培育起到了积极促进作用。彭氏在教育方面既重视文化知识的传授,还注重编印传播劝善书,着力劝人向善,表现出文化知识和思想品德教育并重的特色。这是彭氏取得成功的重要原因,值得今人学习和借鉴。Peng Family was a famous cultural family in the Qing Dynasty. Peng Family had a tradition of valuing education, and their education atmosphere was thick and the education system was complete, which laid a solid foundation for the family’s success in imperial examination. Peng Family also actively promoted the development of Suzhou local education. They not only enthusiastically participated in schools, academies and other local educational institutions, but also had long served as the dean of local academies, and they played a positive role in promoting the atmosphere of advocating literacy and education in Suzhou. In education, Peng Family attached importance to both cultural knowledge and ideological cultivation. This is an important reason for the success of Peng Family, which was worthy of learning by people today.
