椰油酸改性制备疏水型碳酸钡的研究

摘  要:以椰油酸钠为改性剂,对碳酸钡进行原位改性研究,并确定最佳改性温度。采用傅里叶变换红外光谱(FTIR)、扫描电子显微镜(SEM)及X射线衍射(XRD)对改性前后碳酸钡样品的结构、物相及形貌进行表征,采用光学接触角测定仪对改性前后碳酸钡的水接触角进行表征。结果表明:椰油酸钠用量为碳酸钡质量的0.75%、改性温度为30℃时制备的碳酸钡样品活化度达99.40%,水接触角为141.2°;经椰油酸钠改性后,碳酸钡颗粒表面形成一层有机修饰层,改性后的碳酸钡表面性质由亲水变为疏水。In-situ modification study was conducted on barium carbonate with cocinic acid as modifier to determine the optimum modification temperature. The pre-and post-modified barium carbonates were characterized in structure, phase and morphology by SEM, XRD and FTIR and the pre-and post-modified barium carbonates were characterized in water contact angle by Optical Contact Angle Tester. The results indicated that with the dosage of cocinic acid being 0.75 % of BaCO3 weight and the modification temperature at 30 ℃, the activation ratio of prepared barium carbonate product reaches 99.40M and its water contact angle is 141.2%. The barium carbonate modified by sodium cocoate forms a layer of organic modification on the surface of particles and changes in the surface property from hydrophilic to hydrophobic.
