《照管图书》及其对图书馆史研究的启示——兼谈西方经典图书馆学著作的汉译

摘　　要：克拉克所撰之《照管图书》一书是研究西方图书馆史的一本名著,通过对该书的解读,认为对我国图书馆史研究的启示主要表现在:拓宽研究视角、重视"边缘史料"的搜集与利用、借鉴吸收其他学科研究最新的方法。《照管图书》出版一百余年后才有简体中文译本出版,由此也引出我国图书馆学界要加强西方经典图书馆学著作的汉译与出版。The Care of Books written by John Willis Clark is a classic work in the field of library science. By introducing its content, the author thinks that this book can offer inspirations, help expand the research range, drawattention to the collection and use of ＇marginalized historical materials＇ and integrate new appropriate research methods of other disciplines. The Chinese edition of The Care of Books was published more than 100 years after its original. Lamenting on the lateness as such, the author appeals that we should pay more attention to the translation and the publication of western classical works in the field of library science.
