摘　　要：从国家文化教育事业发展、四川省地方区域经济发展及电子科技大学图书馆所处的时代背景等因素,阐释了电子科技大学图书馆馆史的编撰背景;叙述了《电子科技大学图书馆馆史(1956-2015)》的编撰过程;分析了馆史的编撰特点;并总结馆史编撰存在的不足和馆史出版对学校图书馆发展的意义。Based on the factors of the national culture and education enterprise development, the local regional economic development of Sichuan Province and the background of the University of Electronic Science and Technology Library, this article explains the background of compiling the history of University of Electronic Science and Technology Library, depicts the compiling process of the University of Electronic Science and Technology Library History （1956 -2015 ）, analyzes the features of compiling the library history and summarizes the problems of compiling library history and the significance of the library development on account of publishing the library history.
