摘　　要："多喜为癫,多怒为狂"出自刘完素所著之《素问玄机原病式》。《素问玄机原病式》中"癫"指癫狂病之癫证,"狂"指癫狂病之狂证。"多喜"常见之精神疾病:躁狂抑郁性精神病(简称躁郁症)躁狂、心气实,分裂情感性精神病(简称分裂情感症)躁狂、心气实挟痰,精神分裂症(简称精分症)偏执型前段、痰瘀酿毒侵心。"多怒"常见之精神疾病:躁郁症躁狂、肝气实,分裂情感症躁狂、肝气实挟痰,精分症偏执型前段、痰瘀酿毒侵心。尽管刘完素之癫、狂症名判别说不妥,然其所提出的癫狂病因火热说,对狂症之临床辨治却有着甚为重要的指导作用。＂Epilepsy due to extreme joy and mania due to extreme anger＂ originates from Suweu Xuanji Yuanbing Shi written by LIU Wan-su. In this book,＂ Dian＂ reters to epilepsy syndrome, and ＂Kuang＂ refers to mania. The commonly-seen mental diseases due to extreme joy include manic depressive psychosis ＂shorted to manic depression） , stagnated heart qi, schizoaffcctive psychosis （ shorted to schizoaffective disorder） , stagnated heart qi combined with phlegm, schizophrenia （shorted to paranoid schizophrenia） paranoid early stage, phlegm and blood stasis with some toxin invading the heart. The commonly-seen mental diseases due to ex- treme anger include manic depressive disorder, stagnated liver qi, manic episode, stagnated liver qi combined with phlegm, para- noid schizophrenia earl）＂ stage,phlegm and blood stasis with some toxin invading the heart. Ahhough LIU Wan-su＇s opinions on epilepsy and mania are a little improper.his theory of fire and heat leading to epilepsy and mania has very important guidance on clinical differentiation treatment.
