摘　　要：对照国外海洋牧场建设,中国仍处于初期建设阶段,尚未形成系统。首批20个国家级海洋牧场示范区的确定将是具有里程碑意义的正确决策,它标志着中国海洋牧场建设进入了新的轨道,未来一段时间内沿海各省市将会高起点、高标准地推进海洋牧场建设工作。目前,世界上海洋牧场的概念和英文表达存在较大分歧,海洋牧场的概念至少有23种,英文表达多达5种,若其概念不明确将无法聚焦海洋牧场研究和建设的目标,也将导致制定的技术路线有失偏颇。为此,本文从国内外对海洋牧场概念和英文表达的不同揭示、共同点、不同点等方面进行辨析,最终确定了一种合适的概念和英文表达。Compared with the construction of marine ranching abroad, China was still in me initial phase, and the system has not yet been accomplished. The first 20 national demonstration area of marine ranching were considered wise decisions that might become a landmark for marine ranching constructions of China. Subsequently, coastal provinces and cities will promote the construction work of marine ranching on a high starting point and high standard in the future. At present, there are many arguments on the definition of marine ranching and its English expression. There exist at least twenty-three definitions, and as many as five English expressions thereof. If the definition is not clear, it will be difficult to focus on the target of research and construction of marine ranching, as well as resulting in the inappropriate technical route. Therefore, in this paper we analyse the disputes, similarities, differences of definitions and English expressions at home and abroad, and aim to determine a suitable definition and English expression eventually.
