英汉心理动词短语心理表征对比研究——来自直线性序列式语法判断范式的证据

摘　　要：本研究运用直线性序列式在线语法判断范式,从表征方式、词频效应和相互作用三方面考察中国英语学习者英汉心理动词短语的心理表征。研究主要发现:1)英、汉心理动词短语总体上均呈整体表征,但具体来看,英语短语夹杂一定程度的混合表征,汉语短语则表现为纯粹的整体表征;2)词频对中国学习者英语心理动词短语表征产生显著影响,但对汉语心理动词短语的表征则无显著影响;3)英、汉心理动词短语在中国英语学习者大脑内部的两种不同表征显著相关,汉语作为母语在加工过程中速度显著较快,占据相对优势。本研究说明,英汉心理动词短语的心理表征特点不同,其影响因素可能与词频及语言优势有关。Employing'online linear grammaticality judgment tasks'on E-Prime program, this study explored Chinese EFL learners' mental representations of English and Chinese psych verb phrases.The research was carried out with a focus on the following three aspects: representation pattern,f requency effect,and their interplay. The major findings were:( 1) Generally,English and Chinese psych verb phrases were stored and retrieved holistically. To be specific,English psych verb phrases were characterized by kind of mixed representation pattern,while Chinese psych verb phrases were featured by pure holistic representation pattern;( 2) Word frequency had a significant effect on Chinese EFL learners' English psych verb phrases' representation,but not on their Chinese counterpart;( 3) The representations of English and Chinese psych verb phrases were significantly correlated in Chinese EFL learners' mental lexicon. From the perspective of their interplay,Chinese as native language had relative advantage in storage and retrieval processing.The findings indicate that the representation patterns of English and Chinese psych verb phrases are different and word frequency and language advantage may be the associated influencing factors.
