摘　　要：亨利·凡·德·威尔德青年时期便是比利时先锋派设计运动中"二十人小组"的领袖,而立之年成为比利时新艺术运动的代表人物,进入中年后主持创办了包豪斯设计学院的前身——魏玛市立美术学校,随后和友人一起创办德意志制造联盟;他热衷于从自然中寻找灵感,善于运用植物曲线美化产品,表现出较强的新艺术风格;威尔德对机械的肯定态度和对理性的执着精神,使其成为理性主义的先行人;他积极推广艺术与技术相结合的理论,并在德国开展设计教育和传播设计理论;威尔德即是新艺术运动的重要带头人,同时也是促使现代主义设计理念蓬勃发展的优秀革命家。Henry van de Velde was the leader of the ＂20 people team＂ in the Belgium avant-garde design movement when in youth time. Then he became the the representative of the new art movement in Belgium after entering thirty years of age. Enter the middle age, he host and founded the predecessor of the Bauhaus Design School- Weimar Municipal Art School. Then together with his friends, he founded the German manufacturing Alliance. He was eager to find inspiration from nature and good at using the plant curves to beautify his products, which showed a strong new style of art. His affirmative attitude towards machine and the dedication to ration make him a forerunners of rationalism. He actively promoted the combination theory of art and technology and developed education and spread design theory in Germany. Velde was not only an important leader in the new art movement, but also a great revolutionist who inspired modern design ideas to flourish.
