摘　　要：红色基因是共产党人中国特色社会主义共同理想与共产主义信仰形成的原始域间,它由理论层、价值层、制度层与事实层组成。红色基因是社会主义核心价值观形成的内在根据,是贯通中华传统文化与社会主义核心价值观的中间人,是社会主义核心价值观在实践中能够实现的重要方式。红色基因对社会主义核心价值观的嵌入,要首先在前提上加强社会主义核心价值观对红色基因的引领;要强化红色基因资源的挖掘,为社会主义核心价值观的培育提供丰富资源;要解释红色基因内蕴的精神品格,以此来涵化社会主义核心价值观。Red Gene is actually the original domain from which communists, the commonteristic socialism and the beliefs of communism came into being. It consists of theoretic aspect, institutional aspect and factual aspect. Red Gene is the inner basis for the formation of core socialism values, the medium between Chi-nese traditional culture and core socialism values, and an important way to carry on the regulations of core socialistvalues in practice. T＇o embed Red Gene in core socialist values, it is required first to strengthen the role of core social-ist values in leading Red Gene; to strengthen the resources exploration of Red Gene, so as to provide the cultivation of core socialist values with rich resources; to elaborate the spiritual character contained in Red Gene, so as to accultu-rate core socialist values.
