摘　　要：在《手提箱》这部小说中,手提箱作为"流亡"的象征语符,被作家用作小说标题,置于最突出的位置。流亡是内心孤独与失落的源泉,书写流亡则是对现世的慰藉与解脱。"流亡"贯穿了作家的一生,亦深深植根于其作品之中。作家通过"手提箱",将故国的过去与如今移民生活的时空连接起来,将私人的记忆碎片拼接成了一幅荒诞不经而又感人至深的画面,折射出20世纪末人类精神流亡的生活状态。'Exile' is an eternal and distinet literary motif.In the novel Suitease,the suitease,as a symbol of 'exile',is used as the title of this novel putting in the most prominent position.Exile is the source of solitude and depression,and writing on the exile is a comfort for and liberation from the realistic life. 'Exile' runs through the whole life of Dovlatov,and it also deeply roots into his works.By using the emblem 'suitcase',the author interscets the past in the homeland and the current migration life and puts together the personal memory picecs into an absurd but moving tableau,which reflects the state of spiritual exile in the late 20^(th) century.
