The load/unload response ratio (LURR) theory is a method for predicting earthquakes by characterizing the extent of damage in the focal area. Based on the load/unload response ratio theory, the spatial-temporal evolution characteristics of LURR abnormality before the Aketao earthquake with Ms6.7 occurred on November 25th, 2016 were analyzed, and seismogenic integral of abnormal area was analyzed. The results showed that there were many LURR abnormal areas in study area before Aketao earthquake with Ms6.7, and anomaly area was annular or flaky. Before incoming earthquake, anomaly zone migrated to vicinity of source, in process of abnormal high value weakening, the peak value to earthquake occurrence time was one month, which was far less than theoretical occurrence time. This showed that tectonic activity in study area was intense, and seismogenic preparation period was short.
